My researches are included in the theoretical framework of the motor theory of perception which suppose that the perception of human motions do not used only the visual system but also at least in part the motor system. They consisted to analyse the link existing between the production and the perception of human motions by focusing particularly on the respect of the motor rules i.e., the isochrony principle, the Fitts law, the covariation velocity-curvature and the anticipation. For this , we carried out different experiments in healthy adults, children and patients. In these experiments, we focused in the analyse of simple or sequential arm movements (handwriting, reaching movements) and on more complex motor activities i.e, locomotion.
