How can I be reminded of upcoming events?

If you click the Calendar link in the menu bar, you can view upcoming events. To be reminded of an event, you need to click the event in the calendar, and then choose the "Request Reminder for this Event" in the event description. You will then be given an option as to when you want that reminder sent (via email). You can view a summary of all of your calendar event reminders in your user control panel (My Profile).
